Rosehip oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the rosehip flowers, whose botanical name is Rosa rubiginosa. Known for its elasticizing and antioxidant properties, this oil consists of about 80% polyunsaturated fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid); it also contains vitamin C, E, K, squalene, and retinol. Useful in the treatment of sensitive skin with redness and couperose, rosehip oil boasts emollient and antioxidant properties. It promotes tissue regeneration, making it suitable for use on scars, acne lesions, as well as sunburns and minor burns. Excellent for preventing and treating scars and atrophic striae (stretch marks), this oil is also a valuable ally in wrinkle prevention. It nourishes the skin and helps maintain its elasticity. Ideal for aging, mature, dry, or dehydrated skin.
